What started as a small fire and safety company back in 1975 by Bill Desormeaux to service
the local businesses of New Iberia, LA and give his sons after school jobs has grown into a
major supplier of fire and safety needs in the offshore sector, as well as land based
facilities of the Gulf Coast.

In 2003, after purchasing and taking over controlling rights of H.I.S. Fire & Safety I was presented with the daunting task of taking a small service company and bringing it to the next level. Along with the hard work of my son Jeremiah Desormeaux, as General Manager, this responsibility has been done in a very short period of time.

As testimony of hard work, H.I.S. Fire and Safety has grown since 2003 from three employees in one location to thirty employees in two locations. Still today H.I.S. Fire & Safety is still growing by adding new divisions to better service our customers, who without them and the dedication of my employees, H.I.S. fire & Safety would not be where we are today.

Our philosophy at H.I.S. Fire & Safety has been and always will be to provide our customers the best service our industry has to offer. My pledge is to continue the steady growth of H.I.S. Fire & Safety with the support of our loyal customers and devotion of my staff.
